This one man was able to make the Las Vegas strip to what it is today; let us open the spotlight for the Wizard of Casinos, Steve Wynn.
Steve Wynn was born in New Haven, Connecticut on the 27th of January in 1942 as Stephen Alan Wynn. Before he dedicated his life into creating and building casinos, he went to school like every other young boy in his age. He studied in an all boys' school in New York and went to the University of Pennsylvania after graduation. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature in 1963 and upon his fathers' death took over his family's bingo business. The same year he married his wife Elaine and he saved up enough money to buy stakes in the Frontier Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The first deal that Steve Wynn struck in the casino business was in Las Vegas where he bought the Golden Nugget and was renovated it to fit a higher standard and a bigger market group. The casinos to follow in his master plan where to be the greatest casinos ever to grace the Las Vegas strip; the Mirage, Treasure Island and the Bellagio.
In the later years he also invested in the Venetian, the Mandalay Bay and the Paris Las Vegas casino. All of these casinos created the reputation of Las Vegas. Steve Wynn's casinos were full of luxury, novelties and even galleries and museums. He strived not only for elegance, but also for culture and educating entertainment. With the Bellagio's botanical garden he openly declared his love for nature and the environmental awareness.
The latest casino hotel created and built by Steve Wynn is the self-titled casino giant Wynn which is also located directly on the casino strip in Las Vegas. In the last five years, Steve Wynn who was able to bid for casinos in Macau established the Wynn casino and hotel in Macau as well as the Venetian.
Steve Wynn has dedicated his life to the world of casinos and until now, he continues to be the mastermind of the craziest creations on casino grounds. With Macau in sight, he will be able to even venture out and show the Wynn class and entertainment to Asia and the whole world.
